With a 30 year background in photography, graphic arts, and painting Brad maintains a business today as a fantasy illustrator, and digital matte painter.

Growing up in the small town of Warren, Pennsylvania and fueled by a fascination for nature and a love of comic art he would spend hours in the local library or bookstores studying the works of contemporary illustration masters. Then, outside of his school hours he would spend much of his free time sketching whimsical creatures, dragons and space ships.

Brad attended State University of NY, College at New Paltz, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in “Visual Arts” in 1974.

After college he explored a career in Photography as a Freelance Photographer’s Assistant, in Manhattan. Here he gained very practical knowledge in the use of light, color and shadow in shaping images. But this would be a stepping stone, as his interest in fantasy illustration never waned, and in 1989 he moved to Los Angeles where he returned to the field of illustration.

Today, Brad uses all his training in the fields of Photography, Painting, Sculpture, and digital editing to create fantastic realms envisioned by authors, creative directors, and film producers all over the US.
